In the statement we gave yesterday of the arrivals of breadstoffs at tide water, the following is exhibited reduciog the wheat to flour, it givesthe enormous agi gate of 124,084 barrels arriving at tide water during the firet week in November. This is by far the greatest arri- val ct flour during a single week, since the completion of the Erie conal. The wheat efloat at Buffalo, on the 9th iost., had been taken hol! of freely by the millers, and an aggregate of 26,000 bushels dispused of at a small declise from last s. One cargo of Milan sold at 79 cts, St. Joseph and Southport at 77, and one lot as low as 75cts. The pria cipal tr actions, however, were at the second named quotations. Sales of flourto the trade at $3 88. The de- cline in wheet may be attributed to the advanced tariff of freight now demanded by the forwarders; 21 cents a bushel is now paid tothe Hudson. The exports by the caval during the first week in Novembei were more than usually collected proportionally large, namely: wheat, 80,215 bush.; cora, 2,280. Tobacco Crops. We have received some additional intelligence of the cropin Missouri, The Glasgow, (Missouri) Pilot states ‘the recent frosts have hadakilling effect upon the crop of tobscco. Although the prospect was gloomy for the present crop, yet it was confidently believed that the yield would beafull half one. Now, however, iti: ascertained, feom undoubted sources, that the injary it haseustained by frost will curtail it from 26 to 33 per cent. This isa serious calamity, as this staple bas been a source of immense revenue to this part of the State.” Our reports from the upper Mississippi also state, that consi- derable injury has been Aone by the frosts, but we incline from frequent conversations with planters, tothe beliet thot it will not amount to as much as the Pilot estimates it.
