H. Schroe der, a journeyman shoemaker, worked for and boarded inthe family of Mr. Hagany, a shoe inerchant. The young lady wesin the habit of trequenting Mr. Hagany’s. She s young, only 15 or 16. Schroeder coutrived to in- duce ber togo to Philadelphia to marry him. She did so; they went to two or three ministers, who yelused to marry them without her parents’ consent. At the last minister's there was considerable con- versation. He placed the package as us at the ber No. 9 Elm street, whence he received it, and placed it under the seat in front of the stage. On arriving at Neponset, he took the flares from the passengers, leaving the pa ege eull under his box.
