Whitehall Boatman’s Row.—Charles Thomas entered a plea of guilty to an assault and battery on John Cork, und was ordered to appear for sentence on Friday. Trial fer Burglary.—A black boy named Charles Roe, alias ‘Thomas Jackson, was tried for burglary in the third degree, in entering the liquor store of Robert Stir- ling, of 63 Grand street, on the night of the 2lst of No- vember last, and stealing clothing, &c. valued at about $25. The burglary was proved by a black boy who was present, and a pair of pantaloons that had been stolen was returned by the accused after he was arrested. A wateh- man testified that he found the accused on the night in question, coming out of the front door of the store of Mr. Stirling, in company with two other black fellows, Thy jury found him guilty, and the Court sent him to the State prison for three years and six months.
