A party of three gentlemen have arrived from Corpus Christi, and report that a large body of Ca- manches have been down in the vicinity of San An- tonio, and etolen a number of herses, and killed some of the settlers. They also state that some Mexicon robbers have been again making attempts 10 raise men enongh to reb the rancho at Corpus Christi, bat have not succeeded. Colonel Carns is in the vicinity with a good company of thirty men, atthe rancho, they feel able to meet any assault ich may be made upon them.
