On the other hand, General Loudohn bas detached 20,000 Men to Marfhal Daupn, i order (o enable him to pre- ferve his Superiority over the Enemy. But as our fiset on their cosfis keep a good look cut, it is prefumed the French will not be able to fail withoat their Ikmotoledge, and if fo, we may polfibly flop them om their route.
