Mr. PITT continues the Dar- ling of the Public; his Candour in the Houfe is greatly admired, his Plans approv’d, and his Mea fures, which will be vigorous, will be purfued. A valt Sum of Money will be raifed for the Year 1759 and the Forces increafed : We hear that 10,000 Men will foon be fent to America, with a powerful Fleet: Andthata confiderable reinforcement will be fent to Prince Ferdinand. By .one Mr. Morfe who left Cafco Bay laft Tuef- day Morning, and came next Day with a Number of Letters to Gentlemen in this Town, we are in- form'd, That a Veffel from the Weft Indies in 18 Days arrived there the Evening before he came away, the Mafter whereof told him that Guadaloupe was certainly taken, and the Inhabitants had fled into the Mountains; but when he came away great Numbers were daily coming in and furrendering themfelves, And Letters in the faid Veflel from Antigua fay, that their whole Thoughts are turned on this GRAND EXPEDITION. .
