Two boys in Camden, N. J., whose names are Eugene Heck, 14, and Arthur Sochacki, 13, com- pleted 1,000 hours in a tree at 10 a. m., Wednesday, and expect to stay up until the day school opens. The article did not state when the schools open in Cam- den, but if they open next Tues- day, the local hoys can break their record by staying up until the schools open in New Britain. In case the schools in Camden do not open until September 8, and the boys stay until that day, the New Britain boys will not have a national fecord, despite their hardihood and tenacity in stick- ing to their tree perch.
