Nickifor Nostir, president; John Ostrowski, secretary, and Profiiot Waykin, treasurer, of the New Britain church, said only small quan- titics of wine were used at sacra- mental services and that their pur- chases amounted only to five gal- lons a yeap. Rev. Peber 3. Paskiewych, pastor of the church, under whose admin- | istration Bishop Mrzena and others are said to have made withdrawals for its account, was indigted perjury by the federal grand jury which indicted the bishop for liquor law violation The church referred to is Mary's Ukrainian church on Winter street. Rev. Fr. Paskiewych left the city earlier in the week, having been dismissed from the pastorate by the board of trustees.
