C., July 28.—An- other epic of human audacity and engineering conquest is in the writ- ing in Nicaragua and six of the heroic characters are from the state of Connecticut. The army eagineers are making the preliminary survey for the proposed Nicaraguan canal, a more gigantic undertaking was the Panama canal.
