Car Turns Over, Lands On Wheels; Driver_Hurt, Placed Under Arrest A coach owned by the Chevrolat Company Leon Raczkowski, look avenue, siruck a car driven by A. P. White of South Pasadena, Calif, shortly after 1 o'clock this afternoon at the intersection of Tin- coln street and Shuttle Meadow avenue turning completely over ani landing on its wheels, at the same time crashing White's car against a pole. Raczkowski was arrested by Ser- geant Feeney and Officer Tanguay on the charge of reckless driving, the allegation being that he was driving at the rate of 30 miles an hour when the collision He complained of injuries to his legs and was attanded by a physician, while two companions, Henry Bish- op of Middletown and Stanley Mat- lize of 524 Eddy-Glover boulevard, escaped unhurt. White was alone in his car and claimed to have been driving at the approximate rate of 15 miles an hour. but Raczkowski's companions accused White of driv- ing faster than he claimed. Raczkowski, who is an automobile salesman, was driving west on Shut- tle Meadow avenue but when the coach righted itself after its flip into the air, it was facing the opposite direction. The force of the impact was such that White's car turned a complete circle before coming to a stop against the pole.
