STATEB. & P. W. CLUBS PLAN ANNUAL MEETING New Britain Organization Will Dis- play Scrap Book in Competi- tion at Bridgeport. The annual convention of the Con- necticut Business and Professional ‘Women's Clubs, Inc., will be held in the Hotel Stratfield in Bridgeport on Baturday. There will be a meeting of the board of directors on Friday evening at the Stratfield immediate- 1y following the board dinner at 7 o'clock. The convention will open Saturday morning at 9 o'clock with registration in the main lobby of the hotel. The convention will be called to order at 9:30 by Miss May Grant of Stamford, state president. Lunch. eon will be served at 1 o’clock. Polis will be open for the election of officers during the luncheon hour. Round table discussion will be held from 2 to 2:30, the convention reconvening at 2:30. Miss Jessie Lee Hall of New York will be the after- noon apeaker. At 6:30 p. m. the ban- quet will be held at which Mrs. J. K. Bowman of Richmond, Va., first vice president of the National Fed- eration, will be the speaker. The club in this city will be rep- resented at the convention and will display the local scrapbook in the Pprize competition to be held.
