\ City Items Three New Britain barbers were among those passing the examina- tions given yesterday by the state hoard of examiners of barbers. They were John Verzulli, Orlando Rizzo, and Vasily Laurioles. Mrs. Bennetti of 95 Mitchell strect reported to the police today that a gas meter in her house had been smashed. The common council committee on supplies and printing will hold a spe- cial meeting at 7:30 o'clock tonight} to receive bids on the printing of 100 copies of the high lights of the report made recently by the auditors who examined the city department meth- ods and accounts. Plans have been made by the St. Elizabeth's theatrical circle of Sacred Heart church to give the per- formance “Fabjola” at the St. Stan- islaus church in New Haven Sunday, April 6.
