Cheatham, quarter mas- ter general of the United States army, has become a big question and answer man. In connection with his job of ar- ranging the Gold Star pilgrimage to France next year he is flooded with questions of every conceivable na- ture from women in every state in the union. Among queries he is called upon [ to answer are: Can an interpreter for the trip be furnished for an Indian mother who can speak no Eng- lish ? 7 Can Kosher food be provided on board ship and in France for an anxious Jewish mother? Can he find a job for the re- maining son of a mother who lost a boy in France? Thousands of women want to know what kind of clothes to take — \ fa along. Visits of divine “messengers”’ be- gan almost two vears ago to Otto Fetting of Port Huron, Mich, ac- cording to church records. Since then Mr. Fetting, one of the church’s 12 apostles, claims to have received further instrgctions. The “temple lot” adjoins the block on which $750,000 auditorium is being built by the Reorganized Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, another division of the original Mormon church. h L TALMUD TORAH REGISTRATION Registration for the new school térm at the New Britain Talmud Torah at 376 Elm street will open Monday. Those wishing to enroll may register in the office of the school between 4 and 8 p. m. The school offers a kindergarten course, an elementary course, a graduation course and a post-graduate course.
