Nevw l;:'lldln B \\nmzm Is Chosen to Highest Ex- ecutive Cffice at Eastern District O New Haven. onventien LDODY SO\ NEW BRITAIN DAILY HERALD, FRIDAY, APRIL 19, 1929, New National Park in West Rea;l; for Dedication Robert Stuart led another party of Astorians through Wyoming and the Teton range country in 1813, taking a somewhat different route than that followed by Hunt on his westward trip, and in deing so be- came the pioneer explorer of the Overland trail. The fur trade was greatly stimu- lated among Americans by the Lewis and Clark and Astoria expeditions into Wyoming. In 1822 Gen. Wil- liam H. Ashley of St. Louis entered Wyoming and the Grand Teton re- |gion with a party of trappers. In | this party were several men who |atterwards became famous in the Rocky mountain country—Jim Bridger, Willlam Sublette, Robert {Campbell and Thomas Fitzpatrick. It was while this party was in {the now Teton national park area that the Jackson Hole company re- ceived its name. It was named for David E. Jackson after one of the first skirmishes with the Blackfeet Indians in 1832, Captain Bonneville headed the next expedition into the Teton region and thereafter development of the | state began with these early trap- pers and explorers becoming the first permanent settlers of the state. Bloody years followed on the plains and explorations were made into other parts of the state, while the |Grand Teton county remained com- | paratively unsettied and its beauy preserved virtually pristine for the national park into which the rugged area has been created. Ross L. Alcorn of Rawlins, presi- dent of the Wyoming Press associa- |tion, has been designated official host to members of the editorial as- sociation which meets in Cheyenne mittee as the principal debaters. Declaring that the new rule mak- ing it illegal for a player on the defending side to run with a fumbled ball has met with “almost unanimeus” disfavor, Hutchinson asks that application of the new regulation be postponed until 193¢. “Certainly every effort should be made not to saddle upon the game a radical innovation that offends the millions who have helped to make football America’s most popular outdoor sport.” Hutchin- son said. had been favored by the football coaches’ association “by an over- whelming vote” and that most of Kellogg’s ALL-BRAN Will By neglecting constipation, bod; uonl Eet in their d::dly vork’ adlc es, | complexions, vhic he signs, soon are followed by Imn that wreck health, ruin ambitions and steal beauty. You can guard against constij tion with a lhnplo nlndyp: Kellogg’s ALL-BRAN., 1t is a de- licious cereal — 100% bran — that brings sure, natural relief from this widespread evil. Doctors recommend ALL-BRAN because it iz a bulk food. It sweeps the in- testines clean of poisonous wastes and stimulates normal action. Hall replied that the new rule| the comment he had heard.on the change had been favorable. He pointed out that the new rule by no means removes the penalty for fumbling since the team drepplag the ball still loses poasession. —— COURTEOUS COPS CITED Kenosha, Wis., April 19 (UP) — An edict by Chief of Police Johm T.
