CRANER STAYS IN EEKER FAMILY Mary Marries Divorced Husband of Her Elder Sister | Chicago, March 12 (P—Miss Mary Meeker, daughter of Arthur Meeker, vice president of Armour and Com- pany, was married yesterday to her elder sister's divorced husband, Am- brose C. Cramer, IL The brief ceremony at Washing- ton was in strong contrast with the elaborate and fashionable event of 1916 when Cramer and Grace Meek- er were married with 12-year-old Mary as their flower girl. Yester- day the two socially prominent Chi- cago families again were united but this time without any advance no- tice and before only a few wit- nesses. The officiating _clergyman, Rev. James T. shall, said he had never seen any of the members of the wedding party before. Cramer 8nd a friend asked him to perform the ceremony right away, Mr. Mar- shall said, and when he consented they went out to get the license. The bride’s parents wcre the only others present. Mceker Makes Announcement The first news of the marriage was a brief announcement tele- with the Fench croas of the Legion of Honor. He joined the American forces soon after this country en- tered the war and became a lieu- tenant. The marriage license gave Cram- jer's age as 37 and his bride's as 25. hey plan to sail immediately for a vo months' honeymoon abroad.
