Yesterday afternoon at the ath- letic program presented at Willow Brook park, the Hartford league won. t place and thereby earned permanent possession of-a cup do- nated by the South Manchester league. The convention opened with a banquet at the Burritt hotel Satur- day evening, with between 200 and 300 delegates present. Rev. Dr. A. A. Ahlquist of this city was toast- master. Speakers were Rev. Julius Hulteen of Hartford aid Rev. C. F. Anderson of Middletown.
