Social Activities About “Gown Yale-Harvard Regatta Will Attract Many — European Travel Popular This Summer — General Exodus to Summer Resorts— Golf Tournaments in Full Sway. HE most thrilling and colorful event to which society folk are turning this eoming week is the Yale-lHarvard regatta on the Thames in New London next Friday. This annual race coming at the close of class reunion and commencement festi ties is a joyous affair that no one misses if possible to attend. Numerous parties will be motoring down to the Griswold Hotel for lunch preceding the races and then to view the gay scene on the river all leading to the big event of the day when the Blue and Crimson match their skiil with oars. One of therdsmartest parties following the regatta, will be given by Mr. and Mrs. Havold L.
