Immediately below is pictured a dress of flowered chiffon over a flat crepe foundation, which cleverly illustrates the moded hip-line and feminized trailing skirt. In a small panel to the right is afforded another view which shows the long back and tiered effect. In the center of the page appears a gown of dotted net lace hung over a chiffon and satin foundation. Combining two motifs, a rounded line in front grows into a pointed decolletage in back and harmonizes skilfully with the trailing length of skirt. A belt of cire ribbon knotted through'the lace grows into a full bow at the left-back, as may be seen in the accom- panying panel. In the upper right hand corner is a lovely dance frock of two thicknesses of mousselaine over a cre| satin foundation in which irregular points cascade, from scalloping, about a snug hip-line. Evening wraps have not lengthened with dresses They remain pretty much unchanged, with velvet tak- ing over the popularity of last season’s brocades.
