"HISREPRESENTED MAGRUDER CLAINS Misunderstood “Even by Presi-! dent Coolidge” Philadelphia, Oct. 5 (A—Rear Admiral Magruder, who created a stir in official Washington criticism of naval affairs in a recent magazine article, says he has heen misunderstood, *even by President | Coolidge.” { Speaking before the Philadelphia Forum last night, the admiral said he had been “sadly misrepresented,” and added: “The president complained that 1 sald the navy was over-officered. T! beliave he got that impression else- where. What I sald was that the navy was over-organized.
