SARLOTSKY SPEAKS AT OUTDOOR RALLY Says He Takes No Onders and Is- Independent Councilman Samuel Sablotsky, democrat, of the Sixth Ward, ad- dressed a gathering of voters on t Main street, near the corner of Spring street, at 12:40 this noon, as- suring them that his purpose in secking reelection to the councl at the polls tomorrow Is that he might continue to serve their interests. He has always been independent, he , and unlike some republican rembers, he does not find it neces- sary to wait until a leader votes to know what stand to tgke on im- portant matters, He repeated that lie is not in the race for the adver- tising it will bring him, and he urged the voters of the Sixth Ward to support him on the ground that his record entitles him to their suf- frage. = Councilman Sablotsky that City Enginecr politiclan and caters to the wishes of the politiclans. Relative to the charges of his republican opponent, Attorney Monroe Gordon, that he lias not had the interests of the Sixth Ward at heart, but has looked ter affairs in other wards while own district suffered, Councilman charged Williams is a hi Sublotsky replied that the republi- can organization put that charge into his opponent’s mouth.
