Schmid of 245 Stanley street, who reported to the police that a boy chased the girl | into the street and he could not avold striking her as she ran in front of his machine. He stopped within 7 feet and Dr. P. W. Fox, who was driving away from the curb, advised that the girl be taken to the hospital. After doing so, Mr. Schmid went to her parents’ home but nobody was about. Then he went to police headquarters to make a report of the accident. At the hospital today it was sald | that the Urban girl spent a restless night but her injuries are not re- garded as serious.
