Of course any kind {of jelly “open” can be used but bright -colored one is natorally mor ffective, { Hot Chicken Sandwiches | Three-fourths cup chopped cold |cooked chicken, 3-4 cup choped cold cooked ham, 13 cup milk, 3 table- {spoons butter, 2 tablespoons flour, 1 {tablespoon grated onion, 1 teaspoon cury powder, 1 teaspoon lemon juice, 8 slices bread, | Combine chicken and4 ham. Melt |butter, stir in flour and when per tectly smooth slowly add milk, stir- ring constantly. Moisten curry pow- ‘dvr in a little cold milk and add |with onion to sauce. Bring to the boiling point and boil thres minutes. |Ada chicken and ham and bring again to the boillng point but do inot lst boil. Remove from fire and |stir in lemon juice, salt and pepper.
