BE L NPT SIUNE R — READ THE DIRECTION CARD During the next few days, a change will be made in Public Pay Station telephone service in the New Britain Exchange. Instead of waiting to deposit money until told hy the operator to do so, it will be necessary to de- posit a coin in order to call the operator. The work of making this change starts on Mon- day, March 1st, and will continue until all Pay St tions in this Exchange are converted to the pre-pay- ment type. For a few days, two types of Pay Stations will be in service. It is therefore important to read the direction card on the instrument hefore using a Pay Station Telephone. The “pay as you enter” type of Pay Station Telephone will render quicker and more satisfactory service to users of Public Telephones. You will help to secure this better service hy reading the directions on Pay Station Telephones before making a call. THE SOUTHERN NEW ENGLAND TELEPHONE COMPANY.
