OTIS SKINNER IN FAREWELL TRIBUTE Acts as Pall Beavers for teacher of Childhood Days | Hartford, Feb, 23 (®—Otls Skin ner, the Hartford school boy who rose to be a Broadway star, back in his old home town this week for a three days' engiagemont in a new play, today paid tribute to one of his teachers at the old Brown school here more than 50 years ago, The teacher was Miss Agnes Grimes Shipman. Skinner was one of those who bore her to her grave this aft- ernoon, ; Miss Shipman was a teacher at the Brown school for 46 years, prior to her retirement some years ago. Among the bright little boys in her classes during the early years of her teaching was young Otis Skin- ner.
