Walnwright explained today. The park departnient lhas already placed curbs on two sides of one tri. angle and has had grading done, expending all funds avatlable for this purpose, The petition will come before the park commission at its next session and It Is lkely that the board of finance and taxaton will be asked to make an appropriation in the spring. More than 50 property owners e placed thelr signatures on the petitlon, which follows: “We the undersign: cltizens, resldents and taxpayers of the City of New Britain, desire to bring to your attentlon the matter of fin- creasing and enhancing the beauty of the triangles situated at the junc- tlon of Broad, Clinton and Burritt streets, in our city, “We are of the opinlon that an ornamenta’ fence about four feet in helght would be very practical, be- sldes ornamental, {¢ put up around these triangles.
