LABOR FEDERATION SESSIONS AT END Threatened Storm Over La Fol- lette Fund Ends in Calm The resolution favoring a third | political party or labor party was| almost unanimously defeated| shortly after the opéning of the afternoon session of the last day of the 40th annual convention of the Connecticut Federation of Labor, at Judd's hall, this city, yesterday, The resolution occupled the greater part of the morning sesslon and the debate was continued into the afternoon. Labor Insurance Approved The Amerfcan Federation plan for a labor insurance company was endorsed by resolution. The state tax on movies was dis- cussed and by resolution the dele- gates will cooperate with the mo- tion picture operators in an effort to defeat this tax.
