In October1923, when The Ladies’ Home Journal price was reduced to ten cents a copy, we announced that, “It has for yeats been the aim of The Ladies' Home Journal, as it has been the achievement of The Saturday Evening Post, to provide the homes of America with the best magazine in _its class at the lowest price.” The present circulation of The Ladies’ Home Journal is the response of American women to that aim---the final evidence of their appreciation of maximum qual- ity at the lowest price.
