NEW BRITAIN CONCERNS VICTINIZED BY NELSON —_— Sfan Arrested in New Haven Had Procured Goods - Here Two local concerns wers vic- timized by Ernest Nelson, who was arrested for obtaining goods under false pretenses in New Haven today, it was learned when a representa- tive of the B. C. Porter 1dentified $37 worth of rugs among the expensive layout fn the pos- session of the New Haven police as | articles gecured from their store by ( Neleon under the name of Willlam B. Besslons of Forestville of June The Dickinson Drug ecompany was the other vietim, Nelson having secured a number of books at that place under the same name. According te the local police, Nelson appeared at the B, C. Porter eompany on June 27, represented himself as Willlam B. Sesslons of | Forestville and purchased the rugs, having them charged. He repeated the same act at the drug company. The books secured at this place were not located among the loot. It is thought that other local stores were victimized in the same manner and further efforts will be made tomorrow to identify other goods held by the New Haven au- thorities. A warrant has been lasued charg- ing Nelson with obtaining ‘goods under false pretenses and an effort will be made to bring the man here for trlal as soon as possible, Brother Will Take Body Away From Potter’s Field Canandaigua, N. Y., Aug. 11 (P— James Rodgers of this city laft today for Harrisburg, Pa, to claim from Potters Field the body of his brother John, who vears ago saved former Prestdent Taft from death.
