TWOGOTO JAIL 0 CHARGES OF THEFT One Stole Peaches and ‘Another Lilts Boarder's $180 Jall sentences were meted out to two defendants in police court this morning by Judge Benjamin W. Alling, George Kadzlanskas of 3561 Park street drawing a 30 day term while Anthony Horgan of 15 Tro. mont street recelved 10 days; both 6n charges of theft. Horgan was charged with steal- ing two baskets of peaches from a push cart owned by Harry Caccomo of 75 Clark street near the man's home about 11 e'dlock t night. Caccomo sald that Horgan, with two Or three other young men, took the peaches from the cart and started to run away, but he caught Horgan and held him until Patrolman Jo. #6ph Moore arrived on the scene and placed him under arrest. Horgan denied being involved in the theft. Kadzlanskas was found guilty of stealing $180 from a boarder who was llving at his home Thursday. According to the testimony in court, he took the money from the board- er's pocket Thursday and went to Hartford, spending almost $50 be- fore he returned. The man claimed that he was going out of the house and took the money with him be- cause he was afrald somebody might onter the house and steal it.
