(#—The tooperative movement as the best o - means of glving the producer equal- ity with other groups was empha- sized today by Richard Pattee, Bos- 'l ton, managing director New Eng- land Milk Producers Association, in addressing the American Institute of Cooperation, which opened a four-weeks conference at the Uni- 4 versity of Pennsylvania. Mr. Pattee is chalrman of the institute. Secre. tary of Arglculture William M. Jar- dine was among other spcakers on 4 today's program. More than 150 agricultural leaders | and students of the cooperative movement from many states and several provinces of Canada are here for the meetings.
