Manager Tobin stated to- day that Eddie has not been in the best of shape but he is anxious to twirl against Manchester and he will probably draw the assignment for the game. The Red Sox will meet the State Hospita] team of Norwich in. Nor- wich on Saturday. This is an annu- al assignment for the local team and means a great deal to the lo- cals. For the'past several years, the Red Sox have been traveling to Norwich and have been taking games regularly from the state hospital nine, This year the team hopes to repeat. Buckland will probably be Manager Tobin's choice for the mound on Saturday. Sunday, the local team will play in New Britain at St, Mary's field. The Falcons will be in Rockville for the day at a big field day there. The opponents for the Red 8ox have not yet been chosen but there are several teams anxious to come here to meet the Sox on a home dlamond and Manger Tobin wili try and pick the best attraction for local fans. The Corbin Red Sox have no open dates for the remainder of the season but are booked solidly through the summer to September. They have games scheduled with Collinsville, Kensington, Staftord Springs, Méchanicsville, ‘Porttand.
