FOLK SONG RECITAL B FLLENR COOK Colorful Program at Burritt School Thursday Night IFolk music aof the middle-Euro- pean peoples has been galning In pépulnrlly since the formation of titelr own nations, A program of fobk musie, presented in thé color- ful costumes of the people who have made it, will be given the New Brit- ain public Thursday evening, at the Ellhu Burritt school. Miss Ellenor Cook, who will give the main part of the program, has been enthusi- astically recelyed in New Britain before. S8he will be accompanied by Miss Ruth'Haun of Hartford, who will also wear costume and will sent a plano group by composers from the Slavish countries. Miss Cgok carrles with her a speclal cur- which fits into the atmosphere he program. Miss Cook's New Britain concert will be augmented by a group of Russian folk songs to be sung by the choir of the Russian Orthodox church under the direction of Mr, Bakoota. Other New Britain na- tionality groups will also sing. The program for the recital is as follow 1.
