He was in his 53rd year, Surgeons performed an operation last Thursday and another one Sat- urday in an effort to save his life. Mr. Curtis resided on Gulf street, Miiford. He had been connected with the Connecticut company for the last ten years, prior to which he was assoclated with the New Ha- ven office of the Adams _Express company.
