STREAM OF GOLD FROM DIVIDEND Corporations in This Area to Pay Out $8,988,705 A summary prepared by Putnam & Co., shows that New Britain con- corns will pay Jarge sums in divi- dends to their investors on or about the first of January. The Hartford and New Britain banks will pay at this time $362 compared with $300,126 a year ago. Corporations in and around New Britain will pay dividends totalling $8,038,705.26, Many extra dividends have been responsible for the large Increase. A year ago Fafnir Ball Bearing Co. paid out $37,600; this year it will pay out $210,000, Hart & Cooley will pay this year a four per cent regular dividend, plus 10 per cent extra, making a total of $138,600 as against $20,700 last year.
