Wagstaff admits that the theatri- cal life is not a bed of roses and often recalls the time when he was stranded in New York with eight cents to his name and in search of smployment, He is no under a five year contract with a 'New York | manager who has made many of tho (8 hig stars of today and Is their per- <onal representative. His work with the Poli stock has heer so well liked by the officials of the Poli organization that a special musical comedy show has been writ- {en for him.
