Camp- ner of New Haven and Morris Pouzz- ner of New London have taken a long term lease with the privilege of pur- chase on Momauguin from the Con- necticut company. Plans are under way to make the resort into one of the largest and best equipped amuse- ment parks in the state. ‘The park will be called The New Momauguin. _The lease includes the hotel and réstaurant known as Swift's, the bath houses, concessions and’ picnie | grounds. The hotel ae® restaurant will remain as they are, nothing ex- cept the management being changed. The lawn and benches will not be touched. Across the street a park, after the fashion of the White City at Savin Rock, will be erected. A large arch will be directly opposite Swift's and there will be a roller coaster, a whip, a carousel, swings and other conce: ns there. 1t is possible that all of these will | not be completed for use this season, but work will be begun immediately | and it is hoped that the park in be ready for the holiday crowd on May 80.
