e 1 The holiday week has never been' more gay than this one. The young people home from school, some of them bringing roommates or friends and the other guests in town have all | helped to make it especially brilliant with its many teas, Juncheons, bridges and theater parties. of course, a dance for every night in the week, aside from all these other par- ties added much. The patroness list for these dances on each night in- cluded several prominent members of the younge married set, among whom were Mr. and Mrs, Bdward Christ, Mr. and Mrs. Flussell Nelson, Mr. and Mrs, Russell Williams and Mr. and Mrs. Willlam Pease. There have been few club meetings this peek except in the way of Christmas parties, the Children's. MeAll Auxil- iary holding the largest and most im- portant one on Thursday at the Shut- tle Meadow club, New Year's eve at the club will see one of the largest parties of the sea- son. Every ‘member is planning to be there and several will give dinner parties to precede the dancing which | will start at 9 o'clock. Mr. and Mrs. Fhilip Stanley will give a dinner party at the club and Mrs. E. Allen Moore will ‘give one at her home to the members of the school set.
