Urban was | arrested last night at about 7:30 o'clock by Policeman Frank Parker at the corner of Allen and Stanley streets after an automobile in which he was driving had collided with an automobile driven ny Morris Gordon | of Stanley street. | Gordon testified this morning that | he was tiaveling north cn Stanley | street and as he approached the in-| tersection of Stanley street he saw Urban traveling at a fast rate of speed in a westerly direction. Gordon said | he turned to his left in order to al- | low Urban room to pass but Urban followed him. He then said that he turned off into the lot where the col- Wslon occurred. Gordon's machine was badly damaged. Policeman Parker, Patrick O'Mara and Lieutenant Samuel Bamforth testified that Urban was under the influence of liquor and in an unfit condition to drive an automobile. Frank McDonough, arrested at about 1 o'clock this morning on Hartford avenue by Supernumerary Officer Mullen on a drunkenness and breach of peace charge, was sentenced | to the state farm. Mrs. Margaret McGrath, his sister, with whom he | makes his home, testified that her brother came home drunk, called her names and caused a disturbance. She requested that he be sent away. Po- liceman Mullen said that the man was causing a disturbance when he placed him under arrest. Prosecutor Joseph G. Woods nolled the case against Salvatore DeFlos charged with breach of the peace. The case against Alex Sabinsky, discharged yesterday morning after having been arraigned on a breach of peace charge, was reopened this morning at the request of Prosecutor ‘Woods. Sabinsky was asked why he told the judge vesterday that he had | never been arrested before when he was arraignd in court on Tuesday of last week. He said he didn't wun- derstand the judge. Judge Hunger- ford told him that he was not frank with him yesterday and therefore he would have to impose a fine of $10 and costs. NEW BRITAIN MAN WITH MARINE GORPS ABROAD T. W.
