School Committee Meets The school committee met last eve- ning and resumed discussion of the building of a school on the plot of land recently purchased by the town. No decisions were reached but a num- ber of architects attended the con- ference and explained the plans which they had submitted. L. 8. Mills, sec- ataw the committee, stated this morning that the school would prob- L started for a couple of months. He stated that the costs of building would probably be lowered by that time, and as the committee does not hope to be able to have the school built and occupied this coming year, it has decided to take time to study the situation carefully and reach a definite decision. He stat- ed that the schools in Plainville would be conducted on the part time plan for the season of 1923-1924 with one class being held in the morning and one in the afternoon.
