His residence is about the same distance from N Haven as is that of Judg Omar W, Platt of Mil ford, friends of whom appear to be claiming that the nomination of Judge Peasley should be classed as a Waterbury appointment. 1 am au- thorized to say that when the nom- Jnation of Judge Peasley is confirmed sand he takes his place on the bench fhe will make his headquarters in New ‘Haven, giving that eity the same num- ber of superior court judge as it has now and the same number that it ;would had Judge Platt of Milford ibeen appointed instead of Judge Peas- Hey.
