WESLEYAN COMMENCEMENT Tri-State Medical Association Arrives At New Haven on Its Annual Tour of Eastern States. New Haven, April 19.—Two trains brought to this city today the mem- bers of the tri-state medical assocla- tion on its annual tour to states, this being the first time the body has come to New Haven and ‘Yale university and its medical school. The physicians were taken in groups through the university buildings and the medical school. A clinical patho- logical conference was held in Brady Jaboratory, followed by luncheon at Giftérd chapel in the New Haven hos- tal. The tri-state medical association draws its membership from Towa, Illinols, Wisconsin, Michigan, Minne- sota and other states. N. Y. C | G. became a commandant and super- intendent of the coast guard academy at Fort Trumbull here today relieving Captain W, V. E. Jacobs, U. 8. C. G. who has been assigned to coast guard headquarters in Washington, D. C,, as superintendent of construction and repair. The short ceremony of turning over |the academy and station to Com- | mander Hinckley took place in the presence of cadets teaching staff and enlisted personnel. Following a short |address in which he expressed his re- gret at leaving Captain Jacobs read orders from the commandant of the |coast guard service relieving him of command and Commander Hinckley then read his orders directing him to succeed in command.
