VISITS OLD HOME TOWN Herbert Hoover Back to Scenes of His Boyhood — Visits Graves of His Parents. ‘West Branch, Ia., April 14.-—Intro- duced as “Herbie’Hoover the secretary of commerce came back to his birth- place yesterday and surprised the town despite the publicity his intend- ed visit had received. West Branch awaiting the arrival of Hoover for two days had almost given up hope of seeing him when the report went about that he was at the home of his cousin, George C. Hoover. The secretary came in an automo- bile and almost immediately started out to sce the town.
