For THE WELFARE OF NEW BRITAIN Write One Check For All Or Make a Pledge Before the nine institutions of the United Charity Organization were feder- ated, there were nine separate “drives” for necessary funds, nine separate de- mands on the citizens of New Britain, Each drive was for a worthy cause but the waste of time and energy was enormous. Now, through confederation, each institution presents its budget to a central finance group. Waste of money and waste of effort in collection is reduced to a minimum. You are asked each year to give “Once for AlL” This year moyre dollars are needed. Fifty Thousand Dollars more. The work of these nine institutions MUST GO ON. Their doors may not be shut to any who ask for help. ON’T think how little you can give and get away with it —Give the dollar you don’t need and one that you do—Go short on something so that a baby can have plenty of safe, clean milk —so that a New Britain boy or girl will grow to be a better New Brit- ain man or woman—so that the helpless may have help — Don’t wait, give today.
