Fiynn about midnight that he had been assaulted by Harold Smith and William Jones, and on his com- plaint the sergeant arrested both young men. Today Judge George W. Riett fined Jones $15 and Smith $10. %, Jones had been sitting on the edge of a table and was requested by the complainant to use the chairs. Anoz- tosian claims Jones became abusive and when he went to the street to call a policeman the young man and his friend, Smith, foliowed him. At Commercial street, he was punched by Jones and kicked by Smith, he testificd. Jones said the waiter pulled him away from the table, struck him and bit his finger, whereupon he slapped@Anoztosian with his open hand in self defense.
