Among thousands of let- ters received daily at the New Britain postoffice there have been ' several received during the past few days ad- dressed to Santa Claus, North Pole, Ireland. A Santa Claus has been kind to the Herald and has submitted to this pa- per coples of a few of the letters he | has received. The first one was writ- ten on four sheets of paper, two en- tire sheets of which were covered with X marks, the sign of kisses the writer wished to give to Santa Claus. Dear Santa Claus: I am sending you this lettet to sug- gest a few of the things I would like for Christmas.
