One of the most brilliant parties in some time was the M ball which was held at the Shuttle Meadow club last Saturday evening. There were 1560 guests to dinner with perhaps anather 100 dropping in for a dance or amore during the evening, Sev- eral large dinner parties preceded the dance at the club and there were also several smaller home dinner parties given, The club was very attractive- ly decorated with huge branches of apple blossoms In the hall and ball- room.
