The plans call for a two-man team. The league will get under way during the first week in April, and will continue through the months of May and June. The entries have been limited to 14 teams, as follow: New Britain 2, Hartford 2, New Haven 3, Waterbury 2, Bridgeport 2, Bristol 1, Meriden 1 and Wallingford 1. The prize money put up amoupts to 400. Worcester, Mass., ten rounds of hard battling at the Worcester A. C. in that city last night Tommy Leahy, champion of Worces- ter county and prime favorite with the Worcester fans, was awarded the decision over Charley Pilkington of Meriden, 1t was Pilkington's first bout in some time and he seemed over- anxious to gain the verdict. In the secoid round he crashed over a hard right which spun Leahy around and dropped him to one knee. It was partly a slip, and T.cahy was up with- out taking a count.
