The promoter and Johnny Wilson vesterday reached an agree- ment by the terms of which Wilson will meet Harry Greb in a fifteen round bout on the night of February 6. As the hout will be contested un- | der the Walker law regulations the boxers will be required to weigh 160 pounds at 2 o'clock on the afternoon of the day set for the encounter. If the bout lasts the limit of fifteen rounds there will be a decision on points by the judges. New York, Dec. 22.—Sam MeVey, one of the greatest negro heavy- weight boxers in the history of pug- ilism, was reported today dying in a Harlem hospital. Reared in the heet fornia, McVey's first was a 20-round affair with Jack John- son in San Francisco. He was knock- ed out in the last half minute of the last round. Later he went to France and for many yvears was one of the foremost pugilists of that country. In France he was one of the tutors of Georges Carpentier when the Frenchman was in the bantamweight class.
