DEATH BRINGS GLOOM News of Senator Knox’s Demise Re- ceived With Sorrow in Pittsburgh Pittsburgh, Oct. 13.—News of the death of Senator Knox last night was received with profound regret in Pitts- burgh. The announcement of the death of one of the city’s most noted citi- zens brought expressions of sorrow. Justice of the supreme: court of Pennsylvania were guests of honor at a dinner at the Pittsburgh club, which was attended by Judge James H. Reed, for 24 years a law partner of Senator Knox, when the word was re- celved.
