VOTE $400,000 FOR SCHOOL BOARD NEEDS \ Board of Finance and Taxation Pro- vides for New Building, Exten- sion and School Site A recommendation for the issuance of. school bonds tothe amount of $400,000 was drafted last evening at a meeting of the board of finance and taxation and will be rocommended to will be called after the council session Final action will be taken at a meet- ing of the city meeting board which will be called after thecouncil session. Chairman E. Clayton Goodwin of the committee on schoel accommoda- tions and Superintendent of Schools Stanley H. Holmes attended the ses- sion in the interests of the school board. The building program of the school committee was outlined by Mr. Goodwin who spoke of the school needs, as did also Mr. Holmes. Mr. Goodwin told the board that the new Cagmody school will take care of only a #mall part of the school needs. An extension is needed at the Smith school and a school site in the north- western section of the city is desired. The moneys appropriated are to pro- vide for these purposes. President F. S.
